The Model TG 209-IRIS thermogravimetric analyzer with C-DTA capability is designed for coupling to Bruker FTIR systems and mass spectrometers for evolved gas analysis
The Model TG 209-IRIS thermogravimetric analyzer with C-DTA capability is designed for coupling to Bruker FTIR systems and mass spectrometers for evolved gas analysis. The new C-DTA capability allows simultaneous measurement of heat flow behavior with sample mass change using a calculated-differential thermal analysis mechanism.

Applications include thermal characterization of chemicals, polymers and pharmaceuticals for determination of decomposition behavior, oxidative studies, reactivity and more.

The system features a top-loading furnace design with a small active furnace volume (2.4 ml) to minimize dilution of evolved gases. It is vacuum-tight to 10 -2 mbar for work in pure gas atmospheres or in true vacuum conditions over a temperature range 10°C to 1000°C. The furnace is water-cooled for rapid sample turnaround, and the robotic autosampler allows overnight processing of up to 32 samples.
