The MultiPROBE II HT series of robotic liquid handling systems features eight pipetting tips for increased speed, throughput and flexibility. Liquid transfers may be performed in an eight-tipped mode with a range of integration modules including thermal cyclers, microplate heaters, coolers, shakers and vacuum filtration systems providing complete assay automation. Available in standard (HT) or extended deck (HT EX) format, the new systems are optimized for high throughput applications such as DNA and plasmid preparation, cycle sequencing and PCR assays.
Accommodating tip spans from 9 mm to 40 mm pitch, the series can pipette from tubes, microplates and vials in any combination. Using VersaTip pipetting tips on the system, users can choose a fixed or disposable configuration at any point.
Flexibility in application programming is performed using WinPREP control software, which operates under the Microsoft Windows NT platform.
