Purification Packs for New Generation Milli-Q Systems

Millipore's Milli-Q ultrapure water purification systems employ a three-step purification process. Initial purification is provided by a Q-Gard purification pack which is tailored to your feedwater source. Secondary purification is achieved by application-specific Quantum polishing cartridges designed to remove ionic and organic contaminants down to trace levels. Final purification is accomplished by a 0.22 µ m Millipak Filter Unit for the removal of bacteria and particles. Milli-Q systems can also be upgraded via Pyrogard 5000 hollow fiber ultrafiltration for pyrogen removal.
