PITTCON 2001: Balance

An analytical version of the Adventurer electronic balance, Adventurer Analytical is a high precision, yet affordable balance designed to provide unsurpassed value and solid reliability. These balances provide laboratory users with an affordable method of performing numerous basic weighing needs. They feature many different weighing modes including grams, kilograms, milligrams, ounces, mommes, mesghals, taels(3) and ticals. The balances are available in 65g and 210g capacities, with a readability of 0.1mg --making them ideally suited to perform virtually any laboratory application.

The balances feature an innovative, ergonomic design that simplifies operation and minimizes the need for extensive user training. The unique contoured keypad is angled to enhance viewing of the large LCD display, and features two large tare keys – one on the left and one on the right – to facilitate easy operation with either hand. The ergonomically designed leveling system with level bubble and adjustable feet assures that the balance remains level and accurate in any setting.

Every Adventurer Analytical balance comes equipped with a full-sized, 3-door draft shield to protect against environmental disturbances. The draft shield offers easy access from the top and either side, while providing maximum protection from drafts and other environmental factors.

Also featured is a standard bi-directional RS232 interface with selectable baud rates for communication with computers and other peripheral devices. The integrated weigh-below hook simplifies the process of below-balance-weighing applications such as density determination with Adventurer Analytical.
