Labware Integration System

FirstMate turns ordinary labware into a simple and efficient parallel synthesis system that runs more syntheses in the same amount of time without fundamentally changing the way the user works. The system handles hot and cool chemistry, uses gas pressure or a vacuum, and is capable of maintaining an inert environment and more. It works with standard glassware and then stores away compactly.

All surfaces that encounter reagents and solvents are made of either glass or Teflon. These inert materials handle the high temperatures and harsh reagents that may be require for the chemistry. Heating and cooling requires no complex devices. Immerse the device in a dry ice/acetone bath for cooling, or use a commercially-available laboratory hotplate for heating. Agitation continues uninterrupted during both heating and cooling. Each test tube remains pressurized with inert gas, and maintains the inert atmosphere even during reagent addition.
