An enhanced version of the Instrument Maintenance and Calibration option for Matrix Plus LIMS is now available. This option provides computerized tracking and reporting on the status of laboratory instruments and apparatus. Many laboratories, including those that operate under GMP / GLP regulations, are required to keep inventories of the equipment and their calibration and maintenance records. The software provides information about any specific piece of equipment such as supplier, serial number, when it was last calibrated and by whom and when is it scheduled for its next maintenance.
This revision also includes several enhancements requested by existing users: support for multi-component instruments such as HPLCs and automated analyzers as well as inclusion of user authentication on demand, to comply with 21 CFR Part 11.
