This company has made further design improvements to return loops on its Aspen stainless steel heat exchangers. The new loops are orbital welded to improve the unit's cleanliness, appearance, and pressure drop. The Aspen series was engineered for ultra-clean operation, making it well suited for laser applications, which require very high purity water, or for applications that use corrosive liquids.

Matching the air and fluid capacities optimized the thermal performance of the heat exchangers. The manufacturer states that the new design allows for reduced weight, lower air and liquid side pressure drop, and improved internal cleanliness. In addition, the series' redesigned liquid side returns can eliminate trapped particles, which can contaminate the cooling fluid.

The series is manufactured without contaminating lubricants and features six standard sizes.
