The Uniflow Conventional Fume Hood features a molded, one-piece seamless liner with coved corners for ease-of-cleaning. The superstructure is manufactured from fire-retardant, chemical-resistant composite materials using a minimum of metallic parts. A vertical-raising viewing sash is constructed of ¼-in clear tempered safety glass with the frame and track fabricated of chemical-resistant PVC. The hood is equipped with a VariFlow baffle to direct air through the fume chamber. The baffle is easily removed for cleaning. A vapor-proof two-tube fluorescent light fixture is mounted behind a glass panel with column-mounted light switch. All electrical fixtures are UL-approved, and the hood is shipped completely assembled.
