The BLOCK K Universal Chiller is used for chilling of samples for semiconductor, clinical and biochemistry applications. Various sizes of tubes up to a length of 100mm can be accommodated. There are 4 blocks for 1.5mm Eppendorf tubes, 12mm, 16mm, and 20mm tubes.
A blank block can also be drilled out to a specific customer requirement. The temperature within the unit is controlled via a Pt 100 probe. The temperature is maintained within +/- 0.75° C across the entire block. The block comes with an inert Teflon Lid to help maintain the temperature.
