BURLE INDUSTRIES Expands Magnum Electron Multiplier™ Offering with its New 5902 Model

LANCASTER, PA – September 24, 2001 – BURLE INDUSTRIES, INC. announces the Magnum 5902 Electron Multiplier™ to its extensive line of compact replacement electron multipliers. The 5902 further expands the line to fit Mass Spectrometer models to include 5995 HP MS Models (fitted with K&M Replacement Ion Optics), Bear Cub 200, Hitachi 3DQ and Brubaker Esquire.

Other replacement multipliers require replacing the instrument's existing ion-optics frame, creating assembly hassles, adding material and labor cost. The 5902 Magnum Electron Multiplier™ snaps DIRECTLY into the instrument's existing mount. No retrofitting with special ion-optic mounts is required, making replacement tool-free, fast, and inexpensive.

The Magnum Electron Multiplier™ utilizes Spiraltron™ technology to provide superior operational lifetime and output linearity. Replacing an instrument's existing multiplier with a Magnum Electron Multiplier™ guarantees improved performance through a higher mass resolution, greater dynamic range and superior sensitivity

Standard Magnum Electron Multipliers™ are available for instrument models HP5770A, 5970, 5970B, 5971A, 5972A GCD, 5973, 5989A, 5989B, M.S. Engine, 5995 Mass Spectrometers (HP Mass Spectrometers fitted with K&M replacement ion-optics) Bear Cub 200, Hitachi 3DQ and Brubaker Esquire.
