Advanced dental facilities are using new dental technologies to create crowns, bridges, inlays, veneers and dental frames in a matter of hours instead of weeks with more affordability than traditional third party molds. City Dental Centers, a dental center in Santa Ana, now has the capability to perform restorative dental procedures using prosthodontics created in-house with their new dental laboratory.

Santa Ana, CA (PRWEB) - Dental technology in the United States is the most advanced, yet less than 10% of dental facilities are equipped with CAD/CAM technology in-house. With this announcement, the dentists in Santa Ana of City Dental Centers, are one of the few dental practices that have the capability to use CAD/CAM images to produce dental prosthetics in a matter of hours. This allows dental restoration procedures to be performed in one visit versus several. Digital dentistry is cheaper than traditional prosthetic work which is usually outsourced to a dental laboratory that manually produces prosthodontics.

“City Dental Centers is excited to announce that we have completed our own state of the art Dental Laboratory. We now have total control over advance technologies that actually make our Dental restorations exactly like how Our Patients and Our Dentist want them. CAD/CAM, intraoral scanning, 3-D printing and milling are just a few new capabilities that we have included in our new dental laboratory,” explains Dr. Sam of City Dental Centers.

Without digital dentistry, the creation of crowns and other dental prosthetics requires the patient to sit through hours of molding and impressions. Then, while the images and molds are sent to a dental laboratory for production, patients must wear a temporary prosthetic that isn’t completely reliable, until the prosthetic is finished. Once the prosthetic is ready, the patient has to schedule another visit in order to have the permanent prosthetic placed. CAD/CAM imagery and 3-D printing makes this process a lot faster, eliminates the need for multiple appointments and eliminates the need for a third party lab to create prosthodontics.

“Other Dental Organizations depend on third party institutions to fabricate their Patient’s smiles, but we have built a state of the art dental laboratory facility that gives our providers total control over the quality of the restorations such as crowns and veneers. The location of the lab is next to our Santa Ana office which includes 2000 square feet of the latest Dental technologies. We have eliminated the middle man to ensure better quality and turn around for our clients,” states Dr. Sam of City Dental Centers.
