Thermo Vision President/CEO Resigns; Thermo Instrument Manager Named Interim President

Kristine Stotz Langdon has resigned as president, CEO, and director of Thermo Vision Corp. (Franklin, MA), a subsidiary of Thermo Instrument Systems (Hurst, TX). She will remain with Thermo Vision in a non-executive position through November 26, 1999.

Roger Herd, who oversees the materials science businesses of Thermo Optek Corp. (Franklin, MA), another Thermo Instrument Systems subsidiary, will serve as interim president of Thermo Vision, pending a permanent replacement.

Thermo Vision designs, manufactures, and markets photonics products—light-based technologies for scientific and industrial applications—including optical components, sensors and imaging systems, and optically based instruments including lasers.
