CIM Convective Interaction Media are chromatographic and bioconversion supports based on a highly cross-linked porous monolithic polymer, offering exceptional chemical stability and flow characteristics. They are available in different forms and chemistries, making them suitable for ion-exchange, hydrophobic interaction, reversed phase and affinity chromatography, as well as for bioconversion purposes on analytical and preparative scale.

The supports combine the advantages of chromatographic columns packed with conventional porous particles in terms of separation power, capacity and sample distribution, and those of membrane technology with regard to convective mass transport. This results in fast separations, high volumetric throughput, and low back pressure. The monolithic, polymer-based columns also feature high dynamic binding capacity, chemical stability (pH 1-13), and simple upscaling. Available chemistries include epoxy, CM, C2, C4, QA, DEAE, SO3, and special affinities. Customized products for diagnostic kit manufacturers.
