The SPECTRAmax Gemini XS spectrofluorometer allows for fast measurements of low level detection limits, as required by most of today's fluorescence-based assays. The product features an extra-sensitive optical design and is suitable for cellular and molecular binding studies, DNA quantitation, drug screening, and environmental analysis.
The system also offers a flexible, filter-free environment allowing the user the ability to determine optimal excitation and emission settings in 1.0 nm increments and provides sensitivity for variable assay conditions. Additionally, the device provides variable excitation and emission settings from 250 to 850 nm, arobotics-compatible format and interface software for Windows 95/98/2000/NT and Mac OS, and well-scanning for collecting multiple data points from the bottom of large area tissue culture plates.
