Established in 1933, Scott Laboratories is a privately-held company specializing in value-added products for the North American wine, craft brewing and distilled spirits industries. M.G. The Pall Corp. Seitz filter sheets represent modern depth filter media based on cellulose. They retain impurities mechanically as well as by adsorptive processes and continue to be one of the most popular filter pads in North America. Sheets are typically offered in 20x20 cm and 40x40 cm sizes with a nominal micron retention range from 0.45 up to 10 microns. The Seitz SUPRAdisc II lenticular filters combine the performance of Seitz media with the structural robustness of interlocking dual drainage plates, giving it the unique ability to be backflushed. Lenticular filters are available in 12-inch or 16-inch sizes with a nominal micron retention range from 0.45 up to 7 microns.
