Cooled Injection Systems: CIS 3 & CIS 4

Source: GERSTEL Inc.
Features of our Cooled Injection Systems: CIS 3 & CIS 4
Features:
  • Trend-setting universal inlets for gas chromatography
  • For the septumless, cold injection of diluted or undiluted sample volumes of up to 1000 µl, with subsequent programmed linear heating and quantitative transfer of sample components to the gas chromatographic capillary column.
  • CIS 3: General purpose inlet with well proven technology - over two thousand in use worldwide.
  • CIS 4: Specifically designed for use with the HP 6890 gas chromatograph.
  • These inlets are the initial building blocks for GERSTEL modular analytical systems (MAS). They are used for the enrichment, focusing and quantitative transfer of the analytes to the capillary column.
  • An integral part of the cooled injection system is the GERSTEL-MAS 505 controller, which is used to control all modules.
  • Dramatically reduces mass discrimination; Eliminates 'thermal shock' to thermally labile compounds; Universal means of enriching, focusing and quantitatively transferring analytes to the capillary column
Simple conversion to on-column injection using the GERSTEL on-column adapter option; Lower detection limits by injecting sample volumes of up to 1000 µl using large volume injection technology; Solvent elimination and in situ analyte concentration; Septumless injection; GERSTEL-MAS 505 controller used as a universal controller for systems. This provides easy, cost effective system upgrading; CIS 3 - Peltier cooling standard; Liquid CO2 or N2 cooling optional; CIS 4
