The BGX-100 Blend Gas Accessory can be used in sample introduction systems to provide an oxygen addition to the sample aerosol. This allows for the analysis of solvents such as toluene and hexane without carbon deposition on the torch or interface. For special applications, oxygen, nitrogen or helium can be added to the aerosol stream using the high precision mass flow controller incorporated in this system.
