Purifier® Class I Safety Enclosures Protect Users From Agents That Require Biosafety Level 1, 2 Or 3 Containment
The Purifier Class I Safety Enclosures, which provide user protection from agents that require Biosafety level 1, 2 or 3 containment, but requires no product protection. Additionally, it serves as an economical alternative to Class II laminar flow cabinets when applications do not require product protection.
Class I Enclosures include an ultraviolet light that may be used in conjunction with surface disinfections to ensure thorough decontamination. The UV light may be turned off while the enclosure is unattended to avoid personnel exposure to ultraviolet rays.
Class I Enclosures are complete with a patented rear baffle with zone perforations, an exhaust HEPA filter proven to be 99.99% efficient on 0.3 micron particles, and patented Clean-Sweep air foil allows air to sweep to work surface for maximum containment. Optional Trace Odor Carbon Filters designed for organic formaldehyde and ammonia odor applications are easily installed and replaced from the top of the enclosure.
The Purifier Class I Safety Enclosures have been particulate containment tested as well as AHRAE 110-2995 conformity tested and are biological containment verified per NSF Standard Number 49 Personnel Protection Test.
