No Ducting Needed With The New Paramount® Ductless Enclosures
Labconco Corporation introduced the NEW Paramount Ductless Enclosures —self-contained workstations where six different carbon stackable filter types are available to allow safe handling of organic, formaldehyde, acid gas, sulfur compounds or ammonia chemical fumes and vapors. 99.99% efficient HEPA filters may also be used to handle different types of chemicals and particulates during the same application. Twp different filter types may be stacked to allow for mixed chemical uses.
The Paramount Ductless Enclosure's energy-efficient ECM motor technology is quieter by 40%, cooler and uses far less energy than comparable models. A 3' enclosure uses about the same electricity as a 60-watt light bulb. Filtered, tempered air is returned to the room eliminating energy waste found in traditional fume hoods.
The patented slotted rear baffle prevents air turbulence within the enclosure to ensure containment. Other containment-enhancing components such as the Clean-Sweep™ Air Foil, Upper Containment Sash Foil, and Upper Dilution Air Supply ensure protection from fumes, vapors and particles. The Safety-First™ organic vapor sensor detects filter saturation and breakthrough.
Unlike traditional fume hoods, ducting isn't necessary, so the Paramount can be moved from area to area, lab to lab. It is available in 2', 3' 4', 5', and 6' widths. A clear baffle option provides 360° visibility suitable for teaching demonstrations.
